Craig's Text-to-HTML Converter
Here's a free software program I wrote several years ago when I was trying to learn Tcl/Tk that converts plain text into a valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional document.
Please note I wrote this some time back, and I was learning at the time, so the source code is probably not ideal for learning from, as I used way too many libraries to make the thing work. However, as a simple, single-function application to handle special character conversion, it seems to work just fine.
